OUR STORY
Taller & Patrimoine is, above all, a story of encounters, between cultures, generations, traditional knowledge, and contemporary perspectives.
It all began with our first restoration workshop in Mexico, bringing together students, craftspeople, and local residents around a common goal: to preserve endangered traditional houses and, with them, a living memory. It was a formative experience where everyone could learn, share, and grow through one another’s perspectives.
Taller & Patrimoine is an adventure born from an individual impulse that grew into a collective movement. What started as a personal initiative to respond to a local need has become a shared project ; driven by a passionate, multicultural, and committed team. At the heart of our approach lies the belief that architecture is far more than a profession: it is a tool for learning, transmitting knowledge, fostering cultural exchange, and expressing solidarity and social engagement.
Today, the association brings together members from France, Mexico, Morocco, Italy, Poland, Argentina, Australia, Switzerland and Brazil. This human and cultural diversity is our greatest strength. It nourishes every project we undertake and inspires us to build differently : with and for local communities, by valuing their know-how and creating spaces for mutual learning.
In this way, Taller & Patrimoine has become the reflection of a collective dynamic in motion ; a shared, committed, and open adventure where architecture rediscovers its human and solidarity-driven essence.
OUR TEAM
Taller & Patrimoine is an association bringing together committed students and professionals who believe that architecture can both respond to contemporary environmental challenges and act as a humanitarian and social lever.
Driven by a spirit of openness, we come from diverse backgrounds and territories, and share a common desire for collaboration and international exchange. This diversity nourishes our projects, enriches our perspectives and strengthens our shared commitment to serving communities and heritage.
