WORKSHOP "REHABILITATION OF A RIBEIRINHA HOUSE INTO A CULTURAL SPACE"

The workshop «Rehabilitation of a  Ribeirinha House into a cultural space» is a 11-day intensive participatory build (5 hours per day) that brings together students, local inhabitants, and facilitators around the concrete realization of a collective space dedicated to culture and mobility.

Faced with the isolation caused by the deteriorating local infrastructure and the lack of cultural options in the Bailique archipelago, this workshop aims to turn ideas into action by building a vibrant public space at a 1:1 scale, through a collaborative, educational approach deeply rooted in the Amazonian territory and its wood construction traditions.
